A Wedding and A Night At The W.S.L.R

On Saturday morning Ela, Jasmine and Sharon picked me up for Marisa and Nicks wedding. The ceremony was in Sydney and the Reception was in Wollongong. Marisa looked gorgeous. It was an extremely long day but I have never laughed so hard before. Jasmine and I were sitting in the back giggling while Sharon and Ela were trying to get to the Reception. We ended up being 30 minutes late. The food was so yummy.

After the wedding we went to check in at our accomodation for the night. We stayed at the W.S.L.R. It was like I was in Fountain Gate living the life of Kath and Kim. The place was so tacky. Talk about Bogansville. The reception area smelt like a Veterinary clinic. Our rooms smelt like 1986. We all laughed it off and enjoyed it.

We were planning to get dinner after the wedding once we were settled into THE RESORT (I'm doing the hand movement girls), but we were too full. I went shopping the day before and bought a lot of junk food. There was cheese, chips, salsa and dip. We also purchased some alcohol across the road from the W.S.L.R (I'm doing the hand movement again) for the night. Check out the Cutlery. How FANCY....

We rented out a video (White Chicks) and sat in front of the TV eating and laughing. I like White Chicks. Its so stoopid that you laugh. My favourite line from that movie is "I'm so going to have a BF right now". For those who dont know a BF is a "Bitch Fit".

I had a great weekend and enjoyed the girls company. Hopefully we can all get together again soon. Thanks for a fun filled weekend girls. It's been a few years since we all left Medibank and I'm really glad we all stuck together and stayed in touch. Marisa your wedding was excellent. Thank you for letting us all share your big day with you...

Happy Birthday Dad and Uncle Rey, Me Luv You Both Long Time

Today my Dad and Uncle Rey turn 49. Oh my goodness you guys are getting so darn old. I hope you both have a fantastic day. I gave my dad a coffee machine and some other stuff to go with it. Gee I hope he likes it. He has a party every year and all his friends come over and have a drink or two or thirty. By the end of the night all the guys are full of food and alcohol. Hopefully the brothers will get to spend a birthday together soon. My Uncle lives in the Philippines so they dont get to see each other all that often. Unfortunately I won't be at this years bash. I'm going to Wollongong with a few close friends for a wedding. Here are some family photos.

I haven't been able to post anything for a while. It's been so busy at work and nothing much has happened over the last few weeks. Well except for the 2 miners in Tasmania finally getting rescued. I got an email today with this funny image. Its amazing what circulates these days. The tag line was

Not Happy Larry

This morning after going to the Gym I went to buy some fruit. I got some grapes, mandarins and bananas. Because of Cyclone Larry the price of bananas have hit the roof. I was shocked when the chick said that it was $12.90 a kilo. I paid $9.90 for 4 bananas. I didn't want to say no because I knew how much of a struggle it was for those farmers. I've done a good deed today. Now I have to appreciate every single bite that I take of these bananas.
