Hard Yakka
So this morning I woke up at 3:45am. I snoozed for another 15 minutes and I was up and ready for the day. I went to the gym. I joined this womens health club which is fantastic. I normally exercise at home but I found that being at home can be boring and I wanted to be pushed to my limits. I also joined because I knew I would feel comfortable being in my daggys and not worrying about some hot guy walking past and seeing me sweat. Not that I care. As if they would look at a fat round thing like me anyway.
I made a commitment to myself this year to be the healthiest that I can be. I've lost some weight but Im still not happy about my progress. There are so many weddings, christenings and birthdays. I try to eat less but being Filipino you kinda get a lot of "why you not eating, you should eat". Im trying as hard as I can and my fitness has improved a great deal which is cool.
I wish I had the same metabolism as Jessica Alba sometimes. I wish I was as pretty as her too. But I guess I just have to put up with what God gave me. I have a diary that helps me through the hard times. I write what I eat and I can see a pattern of when I eat the most.
Reading books I find help a lot too. I went out and bought AJ Rochester's book "The Lazy Girls Guide To Losing Weight And Getting Fit". She has some great tips and she is really honest about everything that she went through while she lost the weight. If in case you all dont know who AJ is. She is actually the host of the biggest loser. She rocks and she is one of my motivators. Go out and get her book its a good read.
